Getting Big!

I can't believe how big she's getting!

In other news, the crib transition is a giant fail.  After three weeks of M getting up every. single. hour. and me getting sick twice (and not being able to get over this last bout), we're putting her back in her Rock n' Play.

We talked to her pediatrician and she agreed that we all need to get sleep again.  So, the plan of attack is to put her back in the RnP for a few weeks and have daycare work on self-soothing with her.  Term babies usually develop this at 4-6 months, and we're thinking that she's probably a bit behind being a preemie.  That, and laying flat might be aggravating her reflux.  So, daycare is supposed to put her down for naps in the crib while she's still awake in the hope that she'll start to learn to sooth herself.  In a few weeks, we'll try the crib again at night.

New Maddie News
-She loves carrots.
-She hates bananas.
-She has been blowing raspberries like crazy the last few weeks.
-She learned she has a "voice" this past weekend; she loves to just randomly yell now.
-She's getting very good a sitting up for several minutes at a time.
-She loves to grab kitty ears.
