12 Months!

Our last photo shoot...and by far the most difficult.

11 MONTHS OLD!

First, I am so glad these photo shoots are almost over.  She is impossible to get to sit still.  Only one more to go!

For this shoot, I'm actually pretty bummed out because we didn't get any good pictures of her laying on the monkey for the comparisons.  She tore her sticker in half before we could check the pictures we took :(  So, this is the best we got.

I cannot believe my baby is going to be a year old in just one month.  It is insane how fast time is going.  I'm going to have a toddler!!!

10 Months!

I'm only a week late this time :)  Monthly photo shoots become more and more difficult as she gets older.  Thank goodness there are only 2 left!  (Writing that actually just made me a little sad)
Well, without further ado, here are the few decent pictures we got, along with the constant barrel rolling!  Here's the best shot of the day:

Stevie loves the baby.  I'm constantly surprised at the abuse she takes just to hang out near her.

9 Months...Better Late Than Never!

I realize these are really late.  We didn't have the most forgiving month for a picture shoot between travel, sick M and sick parents.  So, we finally got around to it.  And...here they are:

8 Months Old!

Madeleine is 8 months old!

I can hardly believe it!  In the last month my little one has learned to crawl, to pull up on nearly everything in sight, to go from a crawling to a sitting position, to stand for a few seconds without holding on, and to kneel.

She is still such a happy baby.  She has the best personality and a smile that melts my heart in an instant.  It is so much fun watching her explore her world and figure out how things work.

She wears size 3 diapers and 6 month clothing.  We haven't checked her weight or height yet today, but if I had to guess I'd say she's around 15.5 pounds and 25.5 inches.  She absolutely loves her music table and Zany Zoo.  Violet the dog is her favorite stuffed animal.  She loves bath time as much as ever, although with her trying to pull herself up on the side of the tub it makes for an interesting time for momma.  She loves sweet potatoes and Cheerios.  She gets terribly upset when something is taken away from her or she is not allowed to crawl toward what she's zeroed in on.  Blowing raspberries while eating is probably one of her favorite things to do.  She's not a fan of her pack n' play anymore because it means jail time!  She's been working hard to try and get herself up the step into the kitchen, but hasn't figured it out yet.

Happy 7 Months!

Madeleine is 7 months old today!  I can't believe how fast the time is going.  It seems like just yesterday she was born!  But, then in other ways, it seems like it's been so long.  I can't remember anymore how little she felt in my arms the first time I held her.

• She's 13lbs 7oz now.  
• She crawls, but only backwards.
• She loves to eat real food!  Her favorite is sweet potato!
• She's sleeping in her crib, and sleeping through the night.
• Her favorite toy is her stuffed Hungry Hungry Caterpillar.
• We read Goodnight Moon before bed every night.
• She's doing a pretty good job of going from a crawling position to sitting.
• She still only has those bottom two teeth, and that toothy grin melts my heart.
• She is honestly the happiest baby I have ever met.  

6 Month Pictures

As I learned today, the month stickers aren't such a great idea at the 6 month mark...and I'm going to assume after.
