Dad's Birthday

For my dad's birthday we were supposed to have an office party.  But, it apparently got moved to Friday (without my knowledge), so my dad ended up with a gluten free cake all to himself!  Shockingly, it was really good!  My mom and I have been trying a lot of recipes, and it looks like we found one that doesn't taste like cardboard, or have the texture of sandpaper :)

Then Ashley and I took dad out for lunch.  He wanted BDubs, so we hung out there eating and chatting.  After work, we all went out for dad's birthday to Mitchell's.  It's one of our staple restaurants.  While we were there we ran into a waiter we really liked from a restaurant that is now closed (Lord Fox).  He's awesome, and we were all really excited to see him.  He loves us because we're crazy, and tonight did not deviate from the norm.
