Livonia Spree

We took the girls to the Livonia Spree today. I'm pretty sure they had an amazing time! The guys were really great about taking the girls on rides, and Ashley and I held all of the stuff they accumulated throughout the day. Ashley was a total trooper. She wasn't feeling well, but made it through the whole day.

Ashley and I had some fun with the face cut outs:

Savana and Trina started a little slowly on some of the kiddie rides, but eventually graduated to some of the bigger ones.
The girls played quite a few games and won a bunch of stuffed animals. They actually did a good job on the balloon darts. Savana popped three of them with four darts!!! Ryan and Eddie, however, didn't fare quite as hot in the shooting game they played :)

Swings!!! They had a lot of fun on these. After this we took them on the Matterhorn. Trina was having a blast on it until they started running it backward. She wasn't the biggest fan of that and sat there screaming into her stuffed animal. But, her and Savana went on it 2 more times by themselves.
Savana did NOT like the pirate ship. At. All. There was crying. And she hated Eddie for telling her to go on it for a good hour or so later.

It was hysterical watching them in the bumper cars. Savana was tall enough to drive one by herself, and she did a pretty darn good job.

The big slide was another favorite. They probably went down this 5 or 6 times.

After spending 4 hours in the scorching heat (92 degrees) we stopped off for some ice cream at the Dairy-go-round.


I have to say the best part of the Spree were the hamster balls the girls went in. It was hysterical watching the kids! Savana actually got the hang of it pretty quickly. Check it out:
